American Chow Mein 1 large onion 3 stalks celery 1 green pepper 2 cups cooked beef 2 Tbsp. butter 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1 can chow mein noodles Coarsely chop onion, celery and green pepper. Cube beef, brown in butter and place in casserole dish. Cook vegetables in butter until limp. Add rest of ingredients except noodles. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Spread on noodles and bake 10 minutes more. |
