Baked Macaroni and Cheese 1 1/2 cup scalded milk 1 cup soft bread cubes 1/4 cup melted butter 1 Tbsp. minced onion 1 1/2 cup grated American cheese 1/4 cup chopped pimiento 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 3 eggs, well beaten 1 cup cooked macaroni Chopped parsley Pour milk over bread cubes. Add butter, pimiento, onion, cheese and seasonings. Mix well. Add eggs and macaroni. Pour into buttered baking dish and bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot with mushroom sauce. Mushroom Sauce 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 cup milk Chopped parsley Beat together soup and milk. Pour over macaroni and cheese. Sprinkle with parsley. |
