Crescent Roll Hot Dish 2 Tbsp. salad oil 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (1 1/2 oz.) pkg. sloppy Joe mix 1 (8 oz.) cans refrigerated quick crescent dinner rolls Mozzarella cheese slices In a large skillet heat the oil. Add beef and cook, stirring with a fork to break up meat until beef is browned. Remove from heat and drain off excess fat. Add tomato sauce and sloppy Joe mix, stirring to blend. In the bottom of a 9 x 13 x 2 inch baking pan, press unrolled dough from 1 can of the crescent rolls. Spread beef mixture over dough. Top with Mozzarella cheese slices. Cover with remaining unrolled dough. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until dough is lightly browned. |
