Dried Beef Casserole 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 lb. dried beef, shredded 1/4 cup chopped celery 1/4 cup fat 4 Tbsp. flour 1/3 cup grated American cheese 2 cups milk 2 cups cooked macaroni 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley Cook onion, celery and dried beef in hot fat until onions are golden. Stir in flour. Add milk gradually and stir until thickened. Add macaroni, seasoning and parsley. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle with grated
cheese. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. Serves 6. |
