Make Ahead Main Dish 1 (8 oz.) package ruffled egg noodles 1 cup sour cream 3 oz. cream cheese 1 medium onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1 lb. ground beef 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt Pepper to taste 1 cup grated Cheddar cheese Beat together sour cream and cream cheese. Stir in onion and garlic. Set aside. Cook noodles according to package directions. Brown ground beef and drain. Add tomato sauce, salt and pepper. In a 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4 inch dish, layer half of noodles, cream cheese mixture and beef. Repeat and then top with cheese. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10
minutes before serving. |
