Quick Corn and Wiener Casserole
1 can cream style corn
2 to 4 wieners
Salt and pepper
Butter casserole dish. Put a can of cream style corn in the casserole dish. Rinse the can
with a small amount of milk and add to corn. Slice wieners into the corn. Season with
salt and pepper. Lay slices of cheese on top.
Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
Rice and Sausage Dish
2 packages dried chicken noodle soup mix (1 box)
4 cups boiling water
1 lb. smoked sausage links
1 1/2 cups chopped celery
3/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 medium onion, minced
3/4 cup rice
Brown the sausage and pour off some of the fat. Mix in with the chopped celery, green
peppers and onions. Brown all together. Ad the rice to the soup mix. Combine with
sausage and vegetable mixture. Put in a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour
covered and an additional 1 hour uncovered.
