Sausage Egg Casserole 8 slices bread 2 lbs. link sausage 5 large eggs 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese 2 1/2 cups milk 3/4 tsp. dry mustard 1 cam cream of mushroom soup 1/2 cup milk Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch pan. Remove crusts from bred and cut into cubes. Cut sausage links into thirds and brown in skillet. Remove from skillet and drain all fat. Put layer of bread cubes in the bottom of pan. Next, put a layer of grated cheese. Place browned sausage links on tp. Beat eggs, mustard and 2 1/2 cups milk. Pour the egg mixture over the top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before cooking, mix the soup with 1/2 cup of milk and pour over the top. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. |
