Viva la Chicken 4 whole chicken breasts 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can chili salsa 1 package frozen tortillas 1 medium onion, grated 1 lb. cheese, grated 1/2 cup milk Bake chicken in 400 degree oven for one hour or until tender. Cool and debone. Reserve 3 tablespoons of the broth. Mix soups, milk, onion and chili salsa. Cut tortillas in 1 inch strips. Butter bottom and sides of a large pan, adding 3 tablespoons of broth from the chicken. Layer tortillas, chicken, sauce, and cheese in pan. Reserve enough cheese for the top. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Bake in 300 degree oven for 1 hour, or until cheese
bubbles. |
