Chocolate Meringue Cookies 3 egg whites 1 cup sifted powdered sugar 1/3 cup crumbled saltines 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips Melt the chocolate chips. Beat egg whites until stiff and not dry. Add sugar slowly, while beating constantly. With spoon, fold in saltines and chocolate. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees
until firm to touch, about 13 minutes. |
