Farm House Cookies 1 cup shortening 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 1 cup sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 4 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. soda 4 1/2 cup flour 1/2 tsp. salt Cream shortening, sugar and eggs. Add sour cream and vanilla. Add baking powder, soda, flour and salt. Mix well. Roll thickly and cut. If desired, sprinkle with nuts or decorate with raisins before cooking, or frost afterwards. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. |
