Homemade Graham Crackers 3 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 6 Tbsp. butter 1/3 cup honey 2 Tbsp. molasses or dark corn syrup Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift together dry ingredients. Melt butter and honey together and pour into dry ingredients. Mix with a fork, then push dough together with hands. Do not knead over over-mix. Place dough on a well-floured surface. Roll with
well floured rolling pin to 1/8 inch thick. Cut 1 1/4 x 3 inch rectangles with a knife. Place
on lightly greased baking sheet and prick tops. Bake just for 10 minutes. Do not over-bake. Cool on rack. Makes 3 dozen. |
