Meringue Cookies 2 egg whites 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar 3/4 cup sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips Beat egg whites until foamy; add cream of tartar and beat until stiff but not dry. Add sugar 1/3 at a time and beat. Fold in chocolate chips and vanilla. Drop on a well greased cookie sheet. Heat oven to 350 degrees and put in the cookies and turn off the heat. Leave overnight. Don't peek! Take out in the morning. Makes about 36 cookies. |
