Super Chip Cookie 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/3 cup sifted flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/8 tsp. salt 6 oz. semisweet chocolate ships 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13 inch round pizza pan. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Beat in dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts. With spatula, spread dough to edge of pan so it's even. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool in pan. Cut into 8 wedges. |
