Angel Food Cake Strawberry Dessert
1 angel food cake
1 pkg. fresh or frozen strawberries
1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 pint whipping cream
1 cup hot water
Mix strawberries and Jell-O with hot water. As it starts to set, add the whipped cream. In
a glass loaf pan, alternate layers of cake and strawberry mix. Can be made the day before.
The longer it sets, the better it gets.
Strawberry Angel Food Dessert
1 pkg. strawberry Jell-O
1 lb. frozen strawberries
1 cup crushed pineapple
1 pint whipped cream
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 yellow angel food cake
Dissolve Jell-O in 1 cup hot water and 1/2 cup juice drained from strawberries. When firm,
whip and fold in strawberries and drained pineapple. Chill. Add cream whipped stiff,
vanilla and salt. Slice angel food cake into 3 layers crosswise. Put mixture between
layers and on top and sides of cake. Sprinkle with coconut and cut in large wedges to
serve.
