Ice Cream Dessert
2 quarts vanilla ice cream
2 pkgs. lemon or orange Jell-O
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups boiling water
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Package chocolate covered graham crackers
Crush crackers and sprinkle about 2/3 on bottom of buttered 9x13-inch pan. Place ice
cream in large bowl and work until soft, but not melted. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water
and add sugar and lemon juice. Blend Jell-O mixture into ice cream and stir. Gently
pour over cracker crumbs. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Refrigerate.
Party Dessert
Chocolate frosted graham crackers
1 pkg. any flavor Jell-O
1 quart ice cream
Line pan with crushed graham crackers. Mix Jell-O with 1 cup hot water, and when well
dissolved, add 1 quart ice cream. Pour over crumbs and cover with more crumbs. Let set
in refrigerator.
