Luncheon Salad
2 pkgs. lemon Jell-O
2 cups boiling water
Combine and let set.
Whip one small package cream cheese and 1/2 cup top cream (I imagine this is half and
half).
1/2 pint whipped cream
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped ripe olives
Mix all ingredients together.
Sauce:
2 cans shrimp
2/3 pint Miracle Whip
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. onion juice
1 small can pimento, chopped
Vegetable Jell-O Salad
1 large pkg. lemon Jell-O
1 1/2 cups hot water
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup non-dairy whipped topping
2 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3/4 cup grated carrots
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 cucumber, diced
2 cups chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper (optional)
1/2 tsp. salt
Dissolve Jell-O in hot water until syrupy. Add rest of ingredients. Put in large bowl and
refrigerate until firm. Best if made 24 hours in advance.
