Strawberry Salad
2 small pkgs. strawberry Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
2 pkgs. frozen strawberries, thawed
1 (20 oz.) can drained pineapple
3 medium bananas, mashed
1 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 pt. sour cream
Dissolve Jell-O in water. Add berries, pineapple, nuts and bananas. Put half the mixture
in a 9x13-inch dish. Let set in refrigerator for about 1/2 hour (keep other half in the
refrigerator also). When Jell-O is set, removed and spread with sour cream. Layer other
half of the Jell-O mixture over the top and return to refrigerator. Can be made the day
before.
Strawberry Sour Cream Salad
2 pkgs. strawberry Jell-O
2 cups hot water and juice
1 large pkg. frozen strawberries
1 large can crushed pineapple
3 or 4 mashed bananas
1 pint sour cream
Dissolve Jell-O in water and juice, add fruit. Set half of the mixture and spread with the
sour cream. Pour on the remaining Jell-O and let set.
