Each summer
several public spaces in Bellingham, Washington, offer a
series of free concerts. For the 2008 season, downtown
Bellingham offers Wednesday evening concerts, Elizabeth
Park in the historic Eldridge district offers early
Thursday evening concerts, brown bag noon children's
concerts run Fridays on the Bellingham Public Library
lawn, Saturday night concerts are at Boulevard Park north
of Fairhaven, Sunday afternoon concerts are at Big Rock
Garden Park, and the Fairhaven district Village Green
offers Tuesday evening and Sunday afternoon concerts. There are also three special concerts
by the Washington Army National Guard 133rd Army Band, and a free
dance on Boulevard Park's Taylor Dock caps off the summer's
entertainment.
